What happens to donated devices

Each device follows a considered path from the first donor conversation to reuse or responsible recycling.

Devices are sent through the appropriate data-erasure process before refurbishment or distribution.

Can I receive confirmation of data destruction?

The 2021 brochure described data-destruction documentation. Upcycled Tech will confirm whether this is currently available for your donation.

Yes. Upcycled Tech welcomes enquiries from individuals as well as companies, institutions and community organisations.
